Something Big Is Coming to London — The Social Skate Summit 2026

23–25 May 2026 | UCL East Campus, London, UK

Skateboarding has always been more than a sport. It's a language. A community. A tool for change. And this May, London becomes the global meeting point for everyone who knows that.

The Social Skate Summit is here — and it's going to be something special.

What Is the Social Skate Summit?

Taking place over three days at UCL East Campus in the heart of London, the Social Skate Summit is an international festival celebrating the growing movement of social skateboarding — the powerful, often unseen work happening in skateparks, youth centres, streets, and communities around the world.

This isn't a contest. This isn't a trade show. This is a gathering of the people doing the real work.

Grassroots organisations. Youth workers. Educators. Community leaders. Skaters who are using four wheels and a board to change young people's lives — every single day.

Three Days. Endless Connections.

From 23–25 May, the Summit packs an incredible amount into three days — panels, workshops, skate sessions, and networking at some of London's most iconic spots. Here's what's in store:

The conversations will span youth empowerment, mental wellbeing, physical health, inclusion, and creative expression — because skateboarding touches all of it.

Why This Matters

Every day, volunteers and grassroots groups are using skateboarding to reach young people that traditional systems can't. They're building confidence. Breaking down barriers. Creating belonging.

But too often, that work goes unrecognised.

The Social Skate Summit exists to change that. It's about visibility, recognition, and connection — making sure the people doing this vital work are seen, heard, and celebrated on a global stage.

Be Part of It

Whether you run a skate programme, work in youth services, are an educator, a skater, or simply someone who believes in the power of community — this event is for you.
